For ease of reference - for SuperDeath I through SuperDeath XIII:

Round 1 is 12 games with the start sheet made up of this year's bronze medalists (random draw)

Round 2 is 12 games and includes this year's silver medalists (random silver draw)

Round 3 is 12 games and includes this year's gold medalists (random gold draw)

Round 4 is 8 games and includes the medalists from the previous year's SuperDeath, granted seeds 1 to 4, third and fourth seeds decided at random

followed by QF, SF and finals in the traditional manner.

--

From SuperDeath IX onwards all previous SuperDeath medalists will join in an expanded Round 4, seeded in accordance with the most recently published Hall of Fame. Byes and a fifth round will be added if needed.
