dood 1st marathon, some things went right (I finished it) and some things went wrong (forgot wallet, nearly missed plane, got sunburnt). trouty legs felt heavy from the start, started to feel ok by about 6 miles but somehow knew that I was going to struggle to get under 3 hours. 1:30:20 at 13 miles so slowed a bit in the 2nd half that was a lot harder. I had to pour water over my head from 3 miles all the way to the finish. 6th in age category and 49th overall Doncaster Triathlon Club 2:52:43 3:05:14 3:14:59 3:05:14 72.29
