Looked to be quite well developed, but not feathered yet, so I don’t know what species. Given our garden residents, most likely a house sparrow that was predated and dropped

jacdaw 18 May 9:09pm, 18 May 2024 4,446 posts	0 jacdaw Black headed gulls hawking for mayflies along the river this evening. Lots of Common Sandpiper, and a roding Woodcock. Very few Sand Martins this year.
