Notes & Comments

Brighton marathon. Very hot unfortunately. Feeling fine until about mile 9, then begun to relaise the 6m gel hadn't had any effect....a few hills sapped my strength and all fell apart during mile 11 & 12. Very diapointing. Putting alot down to the heat, a little down to not expecting such long slow hills. Loads of walking from 13 to 22, legs just didn't feel right...a gel at 22 gave me enough juice to speed up during 23 & 24 with some great crowd support, but then back to normal at 25. Shame.
