Dazzleman A terrible run due to cramping for most of the second half. Tried getting water down me but really struggled. Ended up p***ing blood at the end!!!! Achillies tendon gave me trouble all day today which resulted in my other calf hurting so much now! Bad preperation and school boy errors regarding hydration meant I neve got the time I wanted. WACA Great day, started in fog but nice and cool. Lost Martin Skelton early on to a calf tear so did the 33 on my own. I was somewhat surprised when the sun appeared and somewhat miffed to not have brought any sun block, amazed later of the burn in the shower and the glow mistaken for the northern lights as it grew dusk later on:-?( However I really enjoyed the race and went out too hard and suffered towards the end as legs were sore/ wrecked after not having really run trained for the last month.
