Nina The light breeze died just as the race started making for a very warm race indeed! I really struggled up the hill at 3-4kms and couldn't recover on the downhill sections. Still considering the conditions, am fairly happy. Will I ever get a sub-50! Metro Aberdeen 50:24 50:24 49:00 51:51 58.62

Ultracat If its a hot day maybe slower. It was warm and humid, long steady hill at 3/4 kms and the off-road section meant I was 1 min slower than I wanted. Good race. Enjoyed the Boat Festival afterwards, particularly some smoked haddock freshly cooked and it tasted great with my glass of wine. Metro Aberdeen 53:06 54:36 56:00 56:57 59.82
