Mountainmat Sadly the marshall at the halfway turn didn't turn the lead runners around and we all ran straight past, and thus ran too far. officially I finished in 3rd place in 6:39, however that was for 1.17 miles with a break in the middle! I ran the 1st mile a 5:33 pace, but that was not flat out and had perhaps a 5 second breather in the middle, so doesnt tell me a lot really. It is dissapointing when races when races go wrong like this, but without marshalls who give up their free time races would not happen. Hermitage Harriers RC 5:06 5:15 5:33 68.17
