Cormorant First proper race since 2008 New York Marathon. A nice flat course and a decent event. Finding you couldn't cross the finishing line because you had to get in a queue more than slightly took the edge off it and means that the race timings won't mean much at all. A pity - this race is for charity and staffed by volunteers, but please move the counting and placing further back, behind the finish line. tom_craggs 6th/1000**Watch time. Pleased with the run today and new PB. Unexpected as I had planned to run this as a tempo. First mile or so a bit fast but otherwise felt comfortable and steady. Fast course and conditions apart from the significant stretch off road and the bit with the pebbles which took a fair bit of time out of me.
