bedlam_g Despite the lurgy this was pretty good progress, well up the field (18th) compared to Dunbar (61st), in fact maybe if anything didn't push hard enough. Terrain was sand dunes, deep sand, rock pools, concrete steps up and down to the cliff top, dirt track and at one point due to a very large wave sea water above my waist. Lexo Some sand then some more sand then dry sand then wet sand then pebbles in the sand then some hills then back over the sand with the wind in your face. Hard but enjoyable course and great event in some lovely scenry... Did I mention the sand? Am really loving the Borders series this season...by far the best XC Ive done to date, great and varied courses and no nonsense running at its finest and all for 12 quid for six races ,cant be bad .
