rf_fozzy: That looks like the refitted Constitution-Class starship design on the right there.
As seen in ST:TMP onwards. The Nacelles are a dead give-away. -

ChrisHB: The two scorned examples on the left were innovative products in their day. Their proven value is remembered. On the right we have something that's not even a product. I suppose that Iteration means when you persistently get it wrong, you persistently make another stab at it. Etc Etc. -
