3 miles up. 6.5 miles at 5:46/mile average. 3.5 miles down. Pretty solid workout all things considered. The main all thing being that is was windy as fuck oh my god. Probably should've done this the other way as I would've gotten less headwind but oh well is what it is. But yeah, sunny and around 30 so not too too cold but wind was fucking horribly going northwest on srt. I was pissed on the warmup, and then first two miles of tempo/steady state/whatever had so much headwind I was losing my shit. Luckily when the first turned and started going northeast it got a lot better, and so wasn't grinding as hard against the wind and also running faster. Hit the falls bridge and little uphill and turns had me kinda cooked and gps also bugs out there so said I was running like 8min pace for a solid chunk of time. Would guess overall pace was really a second or two faster given how bad gps fucks up there but alas. Part of the price for otherwise very flat tempo spot without a 180 flip. And then yeah cruised down mlk and mostly got tailwind and closed fairly fast. Was good just grinding it out there, not feeling too great but just kept the legs turning over. Very excited to see that it should be warmer and less windy next week. Cooldown was a little tough by the end, legs were v tired. But felt so satisfied after which was great.
