Dreitalsperren Halbmarathon Eibenstock
I had signed up for the club race with LG eXa Leipzig who paid for the hotel and entry fee. I used this as a great training run for Athens, lots of hills and beautiful landscape. I really enjoyed the run even though it was rather hot today. I could run all the inclines, even the steepest bits. My stomach wasn't playing ball so I had to skip the gels and survive on a couple of banana and water melon slices and an electrolyte tablet at 11 miles. I'm surprised I got through the race on very little. Auntie Flo made an unexpected visit so it got a bit messy in the end. I still finished 61st overall (194 finishers), 11th lady (53) and 2nd in my category. Great day out, very happy with the run
