Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Mud Rocs Great race - worried about cramp which hit me on the ascent of Ingleborough but thankfully it soon passed - pleased with improvement of 28 mins on 2008.

Evil Rich the Dog Dazer Well how about that for a superbly paced training run :-) I wanted 4.30, I was 6 secs over!! Set off really slow, was 507th at the top of PYG. Had made up 200 places by the end and, in particular, was overtaking loads on the ascents and the final long descent. Finished feeling fine, did another 19+ miles of Sunday.

soreeneater NO training for this whatsoever. Was trying to give my number away but too late to do so. Pushed into having a go and thought that if I could get to Ribblehead, then I'd opt out from there. Very steady beginning, 410th at PYG. 314th by Ribblehead. Ah well, might as well climb Whernside...267th ..down to Hill Inn where on the last couple of times I have wanted to pack in. 250th .........Feel okay ...Here goes nothing. 207th at Ingleboro Began to feel it a bit on the way down, slowing, but loads were cramping up. Finished in 4:10:16, a PB!
NO more training ever again.........
