No.8 ™ First proper race for a long time but .......... Not racing it - been instructed to hold back and do the first 5 miles at 6 m/m pace and then blast the last 5m. See what happens! Stuck to the plan, first 5 in 29:40 finished in 58:35 and picked up first place, bonus

Andy h Nice route pleased with time slowed up last 5 cuz was looking for 80 mins, My son was 6th in 3k but the marshalls told my wife the wrong road where they was finishing so missed both my sons finish, they shouldnt have 3 races starting at the same time they got it wrapped round there necks, not doing this race again.

thorneygeoff Excellent race - really enjoyed route and it was nice to do the 10miles rather than 10.3 that we did last year due to flooding. Also really enjoyed cakes and the band afterwards. Well done Swineshead!

Mrs F Wow! Managed the 10! Ice pack on achilles now! Started at the back and just took it easy, very easy! This made it very enjoyable, lovely course, lovely event! Slightly undulating! Burgers and beer available at then end!
