Ed from Langport Considering the conditions I'm extremely pleased with the result, my 2nd fastest 5K ever! Predicted splits: 4.05, 8.10, 12.15, 16.20, 20.25 Actual splits: 3.53, 7.49, 11.57, 16.13, 20.22 The actual kilometric rate of 3.53, 3.56, 4.08, 4.16, 4.09 as opposed to the target of 4.05 for each km shows that I gained 21 seconds over the first 2km then lost 18 seconds over the last 3km. I went off too fast, but never mind I still achieved my target!
