biru A great day for running...very little wind, sunny and crisp! This was the first time I have raced the 5km distance. I do the course as a training running at least a couple of times a week, so knew where to go fast and where to hold back a little (most of the time you are either running up or down hill!). The lungs are feeling farily wasted now...must start including some interval training in my training program after christmas!!!

Ellem I think my predicted time was a little optimistic forgot about the hill!! Still one and a half minutes faster than last year's race so well pleased and even managed a sprint finish.

toepointer 10th. female. Running well on the non-hilly parts but I really cannot do hills. Why do I keep doing hilly races? Probably because most races round these parts contain a mini mountain of some sort.
