About this parkrun

Did this once as second half of New year's double and it was very, very muddy. Trail shoes were a must, though I imagine in summer it's a different story. Once past the muddy start, pleasant river side run. 2 laps (I think!) and very friendly!

Two laps cross country style course which can get very muddy when wet.

Very friendly bunch. 2 lap course...a mixture of grass, park paths and off road. Can get muddy in winter. Very nice surroundings. Lots of parking spaces. Pretty bijoux around 150 runners. Choice of cafe's across the road...marple rail station nearby.

Two laps that start on grass, bit of path then more grass. Not too hilly and lovely cross country style course. Not muddy when I did in June. Free Car park near start. Friendly volunteers.

2 laps of a park with several different surfaces, but mostly grass.

Great route, now with a firmer winter alternative route, and very well organised. Nearby parking but no loos - well you cannot have everything!
