santababy what a lovely race, great organisation, goody bag, t shirt AND medal for £13 ,bargain city, topped with magnificant scenery and friendly bunch of marshalls and racers, top marks. No pb for me , maybe cos i walked thru the drink stations to get myself used to taking in water (i never usually drink on 1/2's) or maybe the strong headwinds for last 4/5 miles, who knows, still enjoyed it tho!! be back next yr for more...

Debstir Watch time - official time another 10 secs so still beats Alloa's time! Brilliant run, well organised and really scenic (if not rather 'undulating!). Strongest headwind ever from mile 10 to the finish!

EyeSpy21 YESSS! PB by over 13 mins. Lovely course. Really enjoyed. Was comfortably doing ave. 8:35-8:40 min miles and bettered pbs for 5 and 10 miles. Then thanks to the galeforce headwind from 10 miles to the finish I was reduced to 9:19 min miles!! So, more to come on a calmer day!
