Hadrians Wall Fell Race

ebox http://bit.ly/TPzyw More of a fell than a trail run. Marked course, quite treacherous in places as rocks just damp. First off road run since December. Pleased as got round intact.

jazz Think this will be my last fell race until I can learn to run downhill over uneven ground! There was a downhill @ the start of the race and I was more or less at the back of the field at the bottom. Played catch up most of the way round until the next steep downhill section where I was reduced to a walk & lost alot of time again. As it rained just before the race the ground was abit slippy, not helped by the fact that I was wearing trail shoes with not very good grip as opposed to fell shoes!
