Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Debstir That was probably the single most hardest race I've run in a long time! Very 'undulating', just before the 4m mark there was the most horrendous hill ever, thought I was going to need oxygen at the top of it! My foot just about held up through the race, aching now though so got the bottle of frozen water out!

Ticketyboo A good well organised wee race over a tough course. The hill at 3.5 miles was almost vertical reducing most runners to walking/climbing. Finished 23rd.

ClaireT I didn't learn from last year and set off too fast again. Or at least it felt that way as the first half is mainly uphill. Tough course but a nice change from the roads, and knocked 1 min off my time. Quite bizzarre to see so many Santas running through the forest, and discarded suits along the course. Myself and IanS chickened out but managed to wear the hat.

IanS Pretty tough run, especially at the end of the loop where there was just a long line of people walking up the steep hill to rejoin the main track! Good conditions and well organised by Fife AC with the usual great spread afterwards, although the
