Jamis Warm day, legs still a bit tired from Troon !0km onn Wednesday. Enjoyed the race and bumped into 3 of the guys from the club. Big Davie A won the 5km, well done Davie. Could'nt catch Ross he beat me by 2 seconds, next time he will be MINE!!!

The Belly Is Gaun Tae Get Ye Very nearly a PW, decided to enter at last minute to see where my recovery was. Well and truly found the answer. Passed by Jamis in he last 1.5K . Course at 6.29 miles or +399yards which was 1min 37 secs. Could have done with the water earlier.

Ticketyboo Woo hoo 3rd place, my highest ever finishing position in a race. A comical start to the race as the front runners did not know the route and a lack of marshalls for the first couple of km resulting in first 2 runners going the wrong way and having to be called back. Struggled with the hot humid conditions and slowed in the 2nd half but held on for 3rd place.
