Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

bedlam_g Sub 34 attempt, massive fail! First two miles in 5.25 and 5.29 felt controlled and comfortable then 5.38, 5.37, 5.39 and 5.48 felt increasingly grim. As always seems to be my curse at the moment I was alone from mile 1 and started wishing someone would go by and give me even a brief tow. Surprised and a bit confused afterwards to see my heart rate was about 7 beats a minute down on Troon and is probably one of the lowest readings I’ve ever had in a race, it certainly didn’t feel easier. Plus points it’s a 3rd sub 35 and its my 3rd in a row, won prizes for 9th male and 2nd team.

Jaffers Finalised time; 26th of 691. Felt I went out a bit quick, but the inclines were where I lost time. Two objectives (i) PB - done; (ii) sub 36 - nearly. Looking forward to Dumbarton already. Loved the last 300m today though - passed at least 5 in final 200m once I got up onto my toes; the

wil e coyote Well chuffed with this. Time could be better but more the way I managed to race the course and maintain 4:25 km splits. Next stop Dumbarton. Field was ace tonight as well and although the first few K's are bottlenecked this doesn't detract from the overall enjoyment of the event.
