Yellow Fang It was a cold day, so I was glad we didn't have to stand around shivering for long. I am still suffering from an achilles problem, so I wasn't sure if I'd be able to complete the race. As it was, I could feel it but it wasn't too bad. My feet were so soft that I started to get blisters about six miles and I found the last three miles rather painful. I also paid for putting too much effort into the first half. The countryside was pretty. The only hassle was someone who decided to walk her horse across the road, expecting me to stop. It wasn't too hilly. Somehow it seemed to go downhill a lot. I kept expecting to find some tough hills on the way back, but there weren't any either.

eMpTy Really hard after last weeks run at Wokingham and the cold that has affected me for most of this week. First half was bang on target 36:40 but not even pace, second half fell apart. Just managed a PB by 8 seconds.

RuthB2 Very pleased with my first ever 10 mile. Felt a bit tough around 6 - 7 miles, but picked people to overtake which seemed to work. Overcast day, rained a bit in the last 2 miles, but great race. Nice bright yellow hat in the goodie bag too!

Lorraine Looking forward to this.Hope to beat last years time and get a new pb UPDATE.....Got a new PB ... which I am pleased with but not very pleased with my race Did first 5 miles in 46 mins and then it all went wrong.It is a great course and I will be back next year
