Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

BigG Shocker of a run. Recent poor form continued and I started to slow by 15 miles despite taking it at a far easier pace than I'd normally hope to run. Cramp after a big hill at 24 miles finished me off.

Generation X Beautiful scenery, lovely day and a challenging course made for a fantastic first marathon in Anglesey. Against wise counsel went off far too fast and started to pay for it as early as 12 miles, but clung on grimly for dear life. Garmin started to switch itself off at 7 miles, so had to judge my pace as best I could. Looking forward to next year already.

Jogging Jon Harder than I thought it would. Sunshine and hot for the first three hours, and quite undulating with some long hard climbs.

milemonster I met someone who said that I should add on about 15 mins for the hills for Anglesey so taking most resonable things into account I should be about 2h 50m plus or minus 15 mins.

Brushy Despite lots of long training runs, struggled with the hills, esp mile 23! Stunning route though - well worth doing and am already thinking about doing it next year - I won't let those hills get the better of me next time!!!

Fawkes This near on killed me, with all good intentions had trained hard but the undulating course got the better of me. A lot tougher for me than i'd expected, was an extremly good work out and great day, pity i couldn't take in much of the scenary as I was permenantly sucking on the wet sponges!!
