Based at Pitsford Sailing Club next to Brixworth Country Park

Event Update –

It is with much dismay that there will be no Pitsford Triathlons this year and possibly not ever in the future.

Anglian water have re-designated their reservoirs as water parks and as such have doubled the fees they charge and are also demanding a percentage of the event turnover. Given that we also pay the Sailing Club to hire their facilities this huge increase is something as a small business we simply cannot afford. We have tried reasoning with them but they are adamant that this is the price we have to pay despite understanding that they will wipe a great local sporting event off the calendar, and denying the Sailing Club and the Country Park much needed revenue.

Based at Pitsford Reservoir and utilising the superb facilities of the Northampton Sailing Club.

Fantastic swim facilities, a terrific bike course on some of the best cycling roads in the county and a run course that takes in the picturesque reservoir trails provides all the ingredients for a special event.

Sunday 14th June from 06:30 on the Sailing Club clubhouse veranda, transition will also be open from 06:30, transition closes at 07:45.
First Wave start: 08:00

There is plenty of parking in the country park and in the event overspill car park. Please check for car parking charges and have change

WHAT TO WEAR

Bike helmets are mandatory in compliance with BTF and Triathlon England race rules. click here for a full set of the competition rules

Don’t forget: Wetsuit, Bike, Bike Helmet, Bike Shoes, and Running Shoes and it is your responsibility to ensure that your bike is mechanically sound and race ready.

FIRST AID

Mobile medical crews will be on standby throughout the event at locations on both the run and bike courses with mobile despatch vehicles

TOILETS

There are toilet facilities at registration in the sailing club house, plus the club’s changing area. There are also toilets in the country park area next to Rutland Cycling.
