Good ta. Decent pootle this evening on group ride. Mini Race at end after fairly easy ride. ZP says it was my best 5 min effort. Think yesterday was too much too soon. I need 24 hours between rides really

Baz - as I have said online. It is about appropriate effort. As far as I can see you have now done hard efforts in every ride for at least the last 3 days. In effect not taking recovery.
It doesnt matter if you ride 55 mins easy/steady then smash yourself, the impact of the effort when not recovered is compounded.
Hence always doing EASY Wednesday:-)
