I was working with a very ‘close knit’ group of people in an office in a West Riding city when I first heard of YD. I thought it was a joke or wind up for me: I was very much an outsider. I had to google it to make sure they were being serious. They thought Wakefield was the far east so anything was possible

I got home last night and could literally hear the water roaring down the beck and spilling down the road, it's crazy how much water we've had in the past 48 hours!
