Toffee sits up and looks at us pointedly if we miss dinner time by even a few minutes.

This year we are trying an adaptil collar on Cookie for help with fireworks.

He wrote it for the first time last night.
The night before was Diwali and we had fireworks going off. Not a good night for him.
Last night less fireworks, but still some going off and he wasn’t bothered. He even went out for a wee whilst they were going off.

I'd forgotten that Bonfire Night is nearly upon us. Thank goodness Floss has never been troubled by fireworks but I really sympathise with the dogs who are :-( That Adaptil collar sounds like a good thing to try.

Son 2 started his new job with the Dog's Trust yesterday (kennel assistant - bottom rung but somewhere to work his way up from). Went well and he thinks he'll fit in and enjoy it - just slightly overwhelmed with information. He's got five days of training and it seems quite information-dense!

He’ll be fine TR. one he starts on the practical side, which involves a lot of cleaning up dog shit, all the theory falls into place.

Is he at Leicester?

We're hoping Bella will be OK with fireworks, she managed OK at the battle re-enactment over the summer that had actual cannons (although not nearby). I guess we just have to wait and see as it will be her first Bonfire night.
