Flossie had a rare treat today - she found a big plaice washed up on the beach on our morning walk:-). What's more, after I had hauled her away and lightly buried it in the shingle, when we passed by on our return she went and dug it up again and started chewing it :-0

Well done Flossie:)

Our two haven't thrown up since yesterday evening and seem to have survived a light breakfast, so hopefully they're recovering. I think the final count was 15 vomits between them in 36 hours...

We've had family round with lots of noise etc. Jet allowed the children to remove megablock bricks from his mouth without protest. If Mr or I had tried that we would have heard much growling - not something he would normally tolerate. He seems to be giving them 'puppy privileges'

Lovely picture of Indi anyway :-)

Rory and I are trying to learn ‘settle on a mat’. So far I have taught him to lie down and pretend to be relaxed with his head between his paws. He’s not actually the least bit relaxed and there’s quite a lot of huffing and wriggling around (much like if you asked a 3 year old child to sit quietly and read a book). One day...

Ernie will 'settle' but only as long as we keep a steady supply of sausage/kibble/liver cake coming. I actually have found that he settles better if I just ignore him. Then he looks like he's in the huff but I get peace to work.

I was waiting with bated breath for the after photo but it became a bit dangerous so I shall just wait impatiently instead.
