People who deliberately snark at you, and then when you call them on it, yell at you for 'having a go at them'.

Coming back to work and finding two letters from the Office of National Statistics threatening penalties if I dont fill in their various statistical business questionnaires by 6th Jan and 9th Jan respectively (they didnt arrive until 10th Jan). And also an Attachment of Earnings Order for one of our employees from a local council (You are Ordered to deduct this from their pay and Ordered to do that by such and such a date or subject to penalties etc). Cant they be more polite?? Whinge Whinge. I didnt realise I would be subject to so many threats of penalties when I started this business.

The local online paper has this thing that hides the story until you answer a quick question. What's that all about?

For me, the washing machine has packed up. The cycle has jammed and clothes covered in brown sludge.

It might be something to do with artificially improving their 'bounce rate' (the percentage of visitors who arrive at a web page then leave without making any other sort of interaction).

That's odd - why would you want to increase your bounce rate if you're a newspaper?

Improve = reduce in this case.
