I have been to the physio today - private one not NHS - ankle stiff this morning so was feeling pretty low, but as he says, Ive only actually been back on my feet for two months so progress *is* good. Onto the next stage of painful exercises to get my leg bones moving smoothly and further forward over my foot bones.
full recovery will take time, but he's convinced I'll run again (Im not so sure its on my radar) but being able to maybe run/walk the 'run' leg of a triathlon sounds like something to aim for long term. Next year I have the Cotswold 113 in June (half ironman) as my A race, still not sure it I'll be doing it all or getting a runner in yet.

it's a little silly now! This is why I am thinking events. I'm going to do a 5m race series from November too but tbh even unfit me can complete 5m

Would love to do/go to Lakesman as its supposed to be a great well-run event , but its always Mr Frag's birthday weekend, so I never feel like I should go away

Morning, I ran 8km today in 40 min but it was 31-32 degrees at 0800 and I was fried so didn't go on much longer. Going to do an hour on the bike overnight if it's quiet.

Wow Gobi that's impressive planning. I love planning but can't see past month to month at the moment with so much uncertainty. Just trying to maximise my alongside efforts and maintain when at sea.
