As it’s holiday time in Leicestershire the outside pool is open at lunch this week
So I’m booked in
Been jumping in at a different pool that’s further away and indoors. So water is level with side
Outside pool is my local so I get longer plus the water is below the level of the sides. So more outlaw like
Probably be my last jumping in practice (Friday) but I’m taking it
(W weeks today I’ll be on the southern loop heading home!)

A pleasant enough morning of cricketing has been had.
Negative lanyard news, unfortunately.
But, still one other role up for grabs that I'm still in the running for.
Luckily we have Pimm's and sunshine and hounds, and I may even get to bat later.

Yes, still in with a shot, and now with the benefit of explicit feedback on an interview for essentially the same position. There are some things I can definitely fine tune from it, although to some extent it felt like they were retrospectively justifying giving me a lower score because they just wanted someone else this time, as it didn't quite chime with what they were saying at the time.
Still, live to fight another day and all that.
Also, the cricket turned out surprisingly well. Last time at this fixture the 3 missions were all out for 59.
This time all out for 176. The opposition got to 185 for 8 at the end of 35 overs. I was the 11th batter, so technically I was *not* out, though I also didn't face a single ball.

Nice work!
100 TT for me this morning. Perfect weather, fast course and I was riding well.
At 74 miles averaging 25.6mph, but unfortunately race abandoned as a DPD van had rear ended a rider, road was closed.
Sad day, now watching football.
