Sympathies to you Gobi- I think we have similar back problems ? Mine was disc prolapse L4/L5, which left me with nerve damage down the left leg and yes hamstring spasms too. I too have been through that grief of being told you can’t run again, and it really does feel like a bereavement 😕.
I know people will say, hey you can still ride etc, but nothing really comes close to that runners high. Take care and be kind to yourself mate.
Ion - I am back down to my pre lockdown weight, my head no longer feels low it’ll go bang, and I’m off to be beasted by my PT later.
