I'm a bit disappointed to find that the tri I was planning on doing next May (the lido-based one I did this May) has been moved from Sunday to Saturday 'as a trial'. It's the early Bank holiday weekend, *and* the town's very popular jazz festival that weekend, so I think it's a mistake as the bike route will use roads which are very busy on Saturdays. I shall look for a different tri to start the season I think.
