I shaks ma heid. Seriously, is there no sacrosanct depth below which it’s embarrassing to be seen hawking? I’m struggling to reconcile the prostitution of an allegedly "pure consciousness" of swimming by the mercenary pimp of monetary gain. Commercialism at its 'best'. So now SwimSmooth claim to be able to teach us biking too?! I’m really very annoyed... |

Meanwhile the session is totally plagiarised from British Cycling (although, let’s face it, SwimSmooth have always been plagiarists - most of their swim stuff comes from either Maglischo or Sweetenham originally).

+1 for the magnificence of that rant. Pretty true, and 'jumped the shark' springs to mind. I know a couple of coaches who have let their swim smooth qualification lapse due to the massive annual fees required. Others are put off by the cost to get it in the first place. The 'swim smooth guru' was definitely a jump the shark initiative, not sure if it's still going. |

MA - this 'rest foot for 72 hours' thing is boring!The joint itself feels stiff, and it was awkward to walk on yesterday, less so today, though I do have pins and needles in the sole of my foot, which will be driving me nuts by the end of the day. Still, need to rest it so the cortisone does its job TRO's description of the weather in Mallorca reminds me of my IM there when there was thunderstorm armageddon
