So after yesterdays 3 stage hill climb today my season started with CX at the Wessex league.

2 crashes on the first lap were ominous signs but from then on I produced probably one of my best ever rides.

Happy days

So is nobody from the hotel in Tenby ?

Delighted with my performance at Dorney this avo, got the sub 1:30 i was aiming for although aided by not swimming :-)

First time on my roadie for a while today. Approx 25 miles done with a most excellent stop at a cycle friendly tea/coffee/hot chocolate and cake shed where you make your own and pay via an honesty box.

The new watters at Nuffield - we now have FIVE - are bluetooth-enabled. This is v cheerful.

Evening all.

Well done to the racers, trainers and prayers this weekend.

I have mainly been feeling shite, whilst trying to celebrate Mrs LL's birthday, hope the 2nd set of tablets settle down soon

Mrs Recoil never showed up with a surprise birthday TT bike. She never even got in touch to tell me it was ok to buy one myself. Mrs Nico did get me Wiggo's book as predicted. But she also pulled a surprise of her own by booking me in for a taster session at Derby Velodrome. Me, on a bike with no brakes. On a velodrome. It might not end well :-0

Ive got a taster session in Manchester to book and take part in at some point soonish :D

also, has everyone seen the footage of the final 500mtrs or so of the ITU race in Mexico :o
