It was a pleasure to support my brother, it really was all about him - just learned we made the top 10
3rd disappointment - Race as a team and supply a team name then get listed on a page as individuals - looks like we may have been 1st Vets team but we are listed as 8th and 9th(3rd and 4th V40)

They only gave them out at the end. Shame, I would have worn it all the way round

Morning all. Great weekend buzzing around Peterhead bay in a RIB, gaining a powerboat level 2 qualification along the way. Superb fun!
Balancing on a boat all weekend has given a bit of a full-body workout too, as evidenced by aches in odd places. Fringe benefit.
I heard on the radio that you're all going to fry today. Best get out early! HAND

Blogs - yes.
Ankh - I really, genuinely, have been in meetings with senior people to discuss whether we should use the term RIB or RHIB in official correspondence.
I am the very epitome of a dull desk-jockey.

The pedant in me would say RHIB is more correct, but I like to feel like I'm down with the kids, so RIB it is
I'm not that surprised to hear Senior People have included this as an agenda item. I'm fairly sure similar meetings were held at Trumpton Towers when they were looking for swift water rescue craft.
