I was more anxious than I’ve ever been for a race for RTTC, I wondered if some of that was because it was so very long since I’d done a race of any sort. Anyway, all the best Corrah x

I was the complete opposite normally I’m nervous going to parkrun for RttC I was more excited. Being my first race at that distance I expected being anxious esp as I don’t normally run with other people (unless I’m supporting someone) so it was all so different.

At race to the castle we arrived just before 7 for a 7.30 start photo at the threshold sign toilet stop and we got told we could head off when we were ready so if you’re there and ready with seeing if you can just get off.

Definitely wish I was! A club mate of mine was first lady on day 1 of the weekender. She has a long time to rest up at base camp!
