Very nice. I might be able to manage it in a lunchtime run in That London if it is closer to a 6 mile rather than 10 miles outing in that case

Suspect the distance required varies on the distribution of the digits on a given day as well as their accessibility. I think 6.4 is the shortest quoted to date.

The 12 miler I ran on Sunday to collect the badge was probably slightly longer than absolutely necessary - but, given that I wanted to do a longer run anyway and that the chances of hitting all ten in my very rural area are generally slim to none, it seemed worth the effort.

I very nearly messed it up though! Was so excited to see it was potentially doable today that when I was fine tuning the adjustment of digits I didn’t spot the Number 5 digit at the bottom of the distribution! I plotted a route that involved all the other numbers and was about to head out, something made me stop and count the numbers and I realised number 5 was out of shot. Phew, new route plotted, bit longer run but worth it for a badge!

Was going to go for a run, noticed that all the numbers were in reachable places, let's do it.

Argh! 9 out of 10 got:

It wasn't helped by Fetch being down and me looking at a sneaky screengrab I'd taken first, but really this was just me getting confused on my own local geography :-)

Sign up, and you'll see your local map, with ten black markers - each one containing a digit. Collect these on your runs, rides, walks (and swims if you're lucky). It's GPS only, sorry. When you have enough digits, try and guess the secret number, which is anywhere between 1 and 1,000,000. If your guess is wrong, Rundle will tell you whether you are too high or too low.

All Fetchies are chasing the same number. You can choose to share your intel from your guesses - or (moral dilemma) you can try to throw everyone else off the scent.

If you're the person who guesses the right number, you get a snazzy new badge. The secret number will then reset, and the game begins again.
