So one of those less scenic bits of Chester..... I used to be friends with a couple of the students who lived down Garden Lamne (the first road on the left in this shot)... still in touch with one of them! Garden Lane does not live up to it's name . The medical centre on the right is "new" to me. And pretty sure the building on the left were only just finished!! I'm also within a mile of where my first son was born. There's a lot of water along the canal since then!

Less interestingly 3M - it's also part of the first mile of the Chester Marathon route - turn right at the top, drop down through the city and head out in the general direction of Wales

I missed the bonus castle but I do seem to be on a bit of a pub crawl at the moment. Which is a nice change from the tour of bridges I was doing a couple of weeks ago.

Just over 7 hot miles stomped along the prom - funny I didn’t know there was a prom where Fetch lives. Hello everyone! Where’s the flapjack?

Thank you, I’m glad it’s done. Need to book a physio appintment to loosen me off and then restart running and cycling.

44 miles down as running (run-walking) really do need to build back up. I stopped running at all the last few weeks as I didn’t want to get injured as my feet (and legs, glutes) have needed constant work to be ok for walking. Now I can get sorted out readyfor parkrun.
