I don't know what these are. They look like they should be seeds, but they don't appear to be. They all fall off a tree and cover the path, squirrels seem to be nibbling them in the trees. |

I’ve seen those before, Chrisity, but don’t know their name. I happened across this lilac tree growing in a copse |

Read that as corpse GM, was intrigued for a moment. A good year for Lilac. I had a good look at some Horse Chestnut flowers today, and found a Red Horse Chestnut. mortonarb.org |

Looks like linden blossom to me, Chrisity. I'm still crunching my way through last year's beech nuts in a few places. Couple of shots from my garden. The bluebells and whitebells have gone pretty much feral. . |

I think you’ve got ladies smock there. If that’s a damp area of lawn .. then I’d be more confident. Love the horse chestnut flowers GM. They really are magnificent trees at this time of year. (You only get conkers from white flowers. The pink horse chestnut are sterile.) |

Fragile Do Not Bend
Christy, I ran a section of your mystery flower photo through my plant ID app. Considering the image wasn’t sharp I was surprised to see it came up with a reasonable looking result - thyme leaved speedwell.
