I really hope that Donald Trump doesn’t get to watch Countryfile at any time. They’ve just shown a piece where Adam Henson squirts disinfectant on to a lamb’s mouth to deal with an infection.
He’ll feel so vindicated that he’ll probably restart his press briefings again!

A stunning full and double rainbow over my village tonight. This wasn’t my photo as I could t get the whole rainbow in one photo. Let’s hope it is in a sign of a brighter future to come. A little hope for all and a thank to all our keyworkers.

DocM - I expect one of our neighbours has reported us - one of the boys’ girlfriend arrived with us last night. What they don’t know is that she’s been kicked out and the alternative to coming to us is the streets. Who wouldn’t have taken her in? She’ll stay now until the end of lockdown. I saw said neighbour peering disapprovingly as she arrived though

Problem is some people have too much time on their hands and are poisonous. What is wrong with ‘be kind’ and accepting you don’t know necessarily know the full story. Quite different if theses a mega party going on. Again I doubt the police will do anything once they know the situation.

2 Vans full of Police Officers turned up in local park today on Covid patrol. Visibly pregnant daughter was getting her breath back on a bench and they told her to get up and keep walking. Although midwife cancelled normal appointment, she sent a message saying to exercise every day and to try not to put on too much weight. She lives in a flat in Peckham where they have put up scaffolding because of the dangerous cladding, so the windows don't open properly anymore. It is very hot and stuffy. Seems over zealous policing.
