Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Really enjoyed the joiners last night, it’s in a ‘interesting’ area of Southampton but a superb little venue with so much history.

Saw Eddie Reader in Aberdeen last night. For an auld bird she's still got it! 🥰

Excellent support with young Irish singer song writer Ultan Conlon.

Can't begin to tell you how great King Khan & the Shrines were the other night there in Edinburgh. I've been to over 40 gigs since lockdown was lifted and if this wasn't the very best it was definitely in the top 1 [IMAGE186554][IMAGE186555][IMAGE186556]

Managed to snaffle tickets for The Blinders' preview show for their new album at The Trades in June. It'll be a lot of volume for a tiny venue :-)

Sea Power recovered from the Covid scare to put on a great gig at St Lukes in Glasgow on Friday. Nice enough venue that had a strangely early 10pm curfew but meant a few early drinks and earlier to bed in prep for coaching kids footie the next day so no real bad thing for me :)

Love a 10pm curfew. It happens a lot in Nottingham as they have club nights on and want everyone out the venue to bring the kids in!

nice one

Intervals - nice as well. I think intervals are for shows rather than gigs. To my mind there is a difference between a gig, a show and a performance. All can involve playing live music and something can be all three at the same time. I don't think you can sit down for a gig unless you have had too many shots of Jack Daniels and are slumped in a corner.
