Just to throw another shoe into the mix, I have bought a pair of Vapor Street Flyknit and done a range of runs (everything except racing) and would be keen to have another pair for training

I picked up a pair of ZF3 cheap too, yet to try but I have mashed up two pairs of ZF2 now and while I like the feel of them they don’t last long enough for me, I wear the soles through to the carbon plate way too fast

I didn't think the vapor street were running shoes. they are supposed to be "street"shoes hence the name

That's what I thought, then I stumbled on some in a Nike shop and decided to give them a spin.

Nike site describes them as a "lifestyle shoe" - if I like how a shoe feels and I can run in them then I will. For the amount of cushioning they have, plus a very decent tread which suits my running style, it seems daft to just be walking about in them. They are definitely light enough for training in.

However an interesting take-home near the end: "Right now if you’re not wearing these shoes and you’re not sponsored by someone else, then you’re putting yourself at a disadvantage."
