Warm and sticky here this morning, 25 degrees in the room. Resulting in a rather sweaty session.

Very attractive, Muttley. I saw the physio again last night and he's given me some mobility and S&C stuff to do and we had a play on an Erg in the gym downstairs. He's told me to get back on and row but keep it light and short for now, build slowly, and try to work on getting my hips tilted forward to protect the lower back as much as I can.

So I knocked out 2k this morning and it felt great to be back on there!

That's great, Nellers!

I am back to lurking as I'm mainly swimming and returning to running right now (and I'm a wimp in the heat when it comes to rowing) but toying with the idea of the C2 Rowlympics - I have the rest of the week off so plenty of time!

How's it going, Nellers?

Today's RowAlong randomizer gave me 5 x 4-3-2 minutes with 1 min rest in between, at 20 spm 2k+18, 24 spm 2k+6 and 28 spm 2k+2. A variation on the stroke ladder, I suppose.

I struggled with hitting 2k+6 at 24 spm but the other two sections went well enough. Did four reps and called it a day because I was tiring. Still the best part of 10k though so I've not short-changed myself.

Things seem to be looking up @Muttley . I did 2 x 9 minutes @r18 yesterday with no problems and I'm gradually building that up alongside doing all the rehab and strengthening work that the physio has given me, and a bunch of other stuff as I explore what I can do without problems.

So far I've not found much that I can't do to some degree so it goes on. Swimming today and if I have time I might try maybe 3 x 8 minutes today, with a bit of a stretch between each piece.
