I waved at you as we went past Dill We’re in Calais just leaving. France being shut was great news because there was hardly anyone at Calais port! Who has a bank holiday on a Wednesday though? Perverse!

Some of it’s less well cared for siblings about half that height.

Despite being neglected for two weeks, and blowing over, the Dill’s sunflowers have survived! Best flower actually belong to one of the runts, which is looking a bit wonky too Our parkrun Park has a sunflower meadow

Very random!
Mine are drooping so much now they are heading back to the ground. Am I allowed to straighten them out to measure them Assuming they make it until the 1st - they flowered a while ago and silvershadow just de-petalled them for her soap making experiments!

I’ve got mine tied to bamboo canes to keep them upright. I’m sure that they would have bitten the dust by now otherwise.

I've de-petalled one of mine so far...next one is a couple of days from the same fate. They're never going to win in the height stakes, but the kids love them.
