Glad you enjoyed the round up! I love cinnamon and ginger. I have a recipe for a turmeric chai latte that I need to try out some time. If it works well, I'll share it with anyone who is interested.

ooh yes please Garfield - I've never tried chai latte and drink my tea with a tiny smidge of milk so not sure how I'd get on with it - but would like to give it a try

Well done Phidip bunting and Jenni-f-f bunting for passing he finish line!

I can’t remember if I thanked Garfield for the round up - thanks Garfield!

Tonight was my first run since Monday - had a bit of a sore back so didn’t run Tuesday or Wednesday, sports massage Wednesday evening sorted it, but felt a little achy after that yesterday morning, then had a gig in the evening, so didn’t run until tonight’s Severn Bridge 5 mile race, which is run across the old A48 bridge. Conditions were a bit interesting (wet throughout, a rather tasty headwind on the way out plus horizontal hail in the face - my splits tell the story), but a very different and unique sort of run. It’s a bit of a fun race - lots of glow sticks and glow in the dark face paint - and as they run the race on two different nights (the first one was on Wednesday) there weren’t any/many particularly quirky people there, which is how I unexpectedly came third lady, and won a bottle of beer :-) Funky Monkey didn’t come along as he didn’t want to get his fur wet, but he did manage to get his paws on the beer...

Glad to see my spiritual home on fetch is still going strong! A lot of stuff kept me away, mojo is back and mileage increasing. I'm looking forward to getting to hear about everyone's exploits again.

Ooh interesting run, jennyh, well done on your win, too! Welcome back, joint ear knee.

10 mile parkrun sandwich this morning. Quite pleasant in the autumn sunshine, though it is a bit blinding when running into it.

Our little shopping centre has its Christmas Lights switch-on this afternoon/evening - there are cake stalls. We may have to investigate.
