Dio - good thing your operated-upon place was unaffected. Were you actually running at the time?

*rubs eyes in disbelief at the recent photos - and on a Sunday, too!*

Ouch Dio, if it's a pothole it's worth reporting on Fixmystreet.com (I think it's called.) Hope the shaken-upness goes away quickly.

Well done all runners. I winder when it'll be my turn to put my trainers on? At the moment I have zero desire to run at all.

Hope you've recovered from the shock now Dio. (())

RRRRRR, well done, the chaps at ours went off last and were still going round as the field was emptying.

Last XC of the season completed. The river hadn't flooded so it was the full route and very nice. It rained on me halfway through the last lap and club mates got some pics of me splashing through some good mud and puddles. :)

Afternoon - it's been a busy day. I have done an 8 mile run though - my longest in weeks and weeks. It was ok - it wasn't fast and I think I will be knackered in the morning, but it was ok :)

Well done peeps for getting runs done, I have been lazy today although I have done *some* housework with more to do soon.

Question - can I get my training plan from earlier this year and copy it into next year's plan?

^^ I don’t know anyone else?
Well done AR isn’t that you’re first XC season? medal
Hooray AL
I went for a very wet muddy walk. It was brilliant but I doubt my foot or my cold will thank me it was biblical out there and I spent most of it with a 9 pack of toilet roll balanced on my head as an impromptu extra hat. Water fell through the netting of the oranges when mrS took them out my bag.

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
