We probably just get the same alerts on FB :)
Am very tempted, but can’t broach the subject until he’s got over me going away for a few days now.
And I’d better get a move on, time I was on the road

You entered yet Synge?

Still plotting ... :)

when i've done the half i've always said to myself at the finish line "i'm glad i've not got to head out for another 13" ooops

Hmmm - that has reminded me that I did enter it one year only to DNF at the halfway mark. There are positive and negative aspects to having the race go right past the finish at half way!

We have not had any more logs in the gully at the bottom of the waterfall in the past week
The flow is still substantial but less than a week ago. Here is a picture taken from my study window this morning. You can see the waterfall dropping below our deck a little below the centre of the picture.

Thanks, Ally! I'm in Ayrshire just now, and I'm a bit cross because if I'd been doodling around on social media yesterday evening instead of watching back numbers of Still Game I'd have known to go out aurora-spotting. My dad would probably have come along with his camera.

The Arnprior photo is not far from me, if I’d know I’d have been out. Tbf, though I’ve seen them once from my bedroom window.
