I ordered a turkey breast from a mail order farm shop we’ve used before. It was due to arrive yesterday. Unfortunately DPD has issues in our area so it might not even arrive today. Which means tonight, after work, I’m going to a supermarket to try and find a turkey option for us :-O

Oh dear! Hope you can at least find one in the freezer section. And keep it frozen in case the other one gets delivered.

Sigh
Turkey collected from Canalside Farm Shop, Great Haywood, at 9am this morning:

I was due to collect tomorrow, but we're going to the funeral of Jo's uncle tomorrow so I re-arranged for today.

The irony there, Sigh, is I live in Great Haywood and can walk to Canalside. But we’ve never ordered turkey from them.

We usually have capon instead of turkey but this year, because it's just us two and my parentals, we're having pork, which will be picked up on Friday.

Me too. It’s the first time that we’ve bought from them, but they’re well recommended so 🤞

Festive Flier
We've had our turkey crown a few weeks, it's in the freezer. I didn't want to risk not getting one in case of a bird flu shortage.
